Bolton Town Centre Neighbourhood Update

Good morning,

The Bolton Town Centre neighbourhood team would like to reach out to you as we are now well within the summer months. 

We have listened to the communities concerns around the increase in anti-social behaviour and violent crime during this summer period and appreciate the worries you may have.

We would like to reassure you that while the summer months and the school holidays do come with challenges; your local neighbourhood team have been prepared for this and we feel confident that our increased police presence in the town centre and surrounding areas will ensure the local community remains safe and heavily policed. 

You will have seen your local officers on their beats as they have been carrying out several proactive and preventative operations to ensure the safety of the community and prevention of crime which effects you.

We would like to remind you that we rely heavily on engagement from the public and encourage that you continue to report all incidents to the police using the most appropriate channels.
